When printing large format books onto photographic paper, such as 16x20 (almost three feet across), the detail at which it will be viewed is unbelievable.  What may look like a little spec on an image that someone else may feel is acceptable when printed is not acceptable to us.  When viewing photography, people are not as forgiving and will gladly put on their glasses to give an image not just a once over, but often twice and more!  Photo restoration cannot be rushed, and must be given the appropriate time necessary.

We normally charge a flat rate for minor and complex restoration, knowing that "on the average" most projects will have more minor restoration requirements than complex, and the tedious time spent will be balanced.  When we are brought a project that features more "complex" restoration requirements than "minor", the images must be viewed prior to rates being discussed and time estimates for completion.
